This is my home…From fringe player to star, Northern stolen base number one ‘perfect sniper’
온라인바카라Lotte Giants’ Seo Dong-wook (23) shows off his perfect stolen base jersey.
Seo started as the No. 4 hitter and catcher at the KBO Futures All-Star Game at Sajik Stadium in Busan on Thursday.
A graduate of Suncheon Hyochun High School and Hongik University, Seo joined Lotte as a developmental player in 2023.
He was added to the first team roster on 11 May and appeared in one game.
His good form continued in the Futures League, where he went 3-for-7 with six home runs and 35 RBIs, ranking first in batting average and eighth in home runs, and was named a first-time Futures All-Star.
Seo Dong-wook, who was named to the Southern All-Star starting lineup, was a strong presence at catcher.
In the top of the first inning, Lee Ju-hyung led off with a single, and Kim Jung-min followed with a grounder to load the bases. Eu Eui-yeol flied out to centre field and Kim Bum-seok came up to bat.
2Jeong-min Kim, who has 10 stolen bases in the Futures League this year, stole second. Kim was leading the Northern League in stolen bases this year.
Seo Dong-wook made a quick catch and threw to second base. It was a perfect throw. Kim was out at second base.
Seo Dong-wook’s neat snipe allowed the South to end the first inning without a run.
The North also had a ‘sniper response’. In the top of the second inning, leadoff hitter Koo Bon-hyuk singled and stole second base. Northern catcher Heo Kwan-ho threw the ball accurately to second base, and Koo Bon-hyuk was tagged out at second base.
Northern was able to get out of the inning comfortably with one out.
