Starting with the opening game of the 2023 Korean Women’s Professional Golf (KLPGA) tour last week, players who have warmed up are competing fiercely in the following competitions.
On the 13th, the KLPGA Tour Mediheal Hankook Ilbo Championship (total prize money of 1 billion won) was held at the Ferrum Club (par 72) in Yeoju-si, Gyeonggi-do.
In the second round, which ended on the 14th, Lee Joo-mi, 메이저사이트‘unnamed’, recorded an interim total of 9 under par and 135 strokes, overtaking Min-byeol Kim to take the sole lead. After debuting on the regular tour in 2015, Lee Joo-mi, who had not been able to perform well enough to imprint her name on golf fans, made her mark by taking the lead alone for the first time in her life.
“A day like this will come too,” said Lee Joo-mi, who exclaimed, “There are still two rounds left, so rather than being greedy, my goal is to record my personal best score in the top 5 or higher. I’m going to put down my greed and play.”
The performance of rookie Kim Min-byeol, who has been at the top of the leaderboard two days in a row, is also scary. Kim Min-byeol, who placed 6th in the opening game in Korea last week, showed her terrifying skills by competing for the championship in the second event of the season. Kim Min-byeol is in second place with a total of 8 under par and 136 strokes in the second round.
Defending champion Park Ji-young jumped 34 places at once on the second day with a hard hit that reduced her 7 strokes, tied for 3rd place (7 under par, 137 strokes), and jumped into the title defense in earnest.
The start of Kim Si-won, who joined the Angang Construction golf team as a member of the 2nd class this year, is also good. Siwon Kim, who finished 26th in the opening game last week, tied for 6th with a total of 6 under par 138 in the second round of the Mediheal Hankook Ilbo Championship. Kim Si-won is the name changed from Kim Min-seon 5.

The performance of the ‘Golf Team Alone’ players is also noteworthy. Seoyoon Kim 2 of Celltrion tied for 17th place (3 under par), and Jinseon Han of Kakao VX tied for 25th place (2 under par).
In the Mediheal club, which has been all out for sponsor competitions, Ryu So-yeon will advance to the finals with the best score, tied for 25th.
