KT and KOGAS completed a two-for-two trade on Sunday, sending Kim Dong-nyang, Park Chan-ho, and Lee Yoon-ki.
After being selected by the Ulsan Mobis with the first pick in the second round of the 2011 KBL Rookie Draft, Kim has spent more than a decade playing professionally for Changwon LG, Seoul Samsung, and now KT.

He signed a free agent contract with KT ahead of the 2022-23 season, but a nagging back injury limited him to four games.
Seeing a need for a veteran big man, KOGAS wanted Kim to be a solid backup to Lee Dae-heon.
It was a no-lose trade for KT. While Kim’s experience is invaluable, the team couldn’t give him as much playing time as they did with the Ha-Yoon-Ki and Lee-Doo-Won system. Instead, they got young big man Park Chan-ho and 3&D resource Lee Yoon-ki.

Park Chan-ho was the second-round pick of the 2019 KBL Rookie Draft and Lee Yoon-ki was the seventh-round pick of the 2020 KBL Rookie Draft.
Lee Yoon-ki in particular is a versatile player. She has good man-to-man defense and a solid three-point shot. For KT, who doesn’t have a shooter, his value will depend on his usage.
