Hanwha’s Sanchez gives up 8 runs in 3 innings…minimum and maximum runs are out of whack

바카라사이트Ricardo Sanchez, a foreign pitcher who has been the patriarch of the Hanwha Eagles in the Korean Baseball Organization (KBO), pitched his worst game since his KBO debut.

Sanchez was pulled after giving up eight runs (seven earned) on 10 hits and two walks over three innings in a home game against the SSG Landers of the 2023 KBO League at Hanwha Life Eagles Park in Daejeon on Aug. 8.

After joining Hanwha in late April as a replacement foreign pitcher, Sanchez had established himself as an ace on the mound, going 5-0 with a 1.48 ERA in his previous nine games.

Against SSG, however, he threw the fewest innings since his KBO debut and gave up the most runs.

SSG opened the scoring in the first inning with a Guillermo Heredia RBI single and added three runs in the second on four hits, including RBI doubles by Kim Sung-hyun and Ahn Sang-hyun.

In the third inning, Choo Shin-soo doubled with two outs and Choi Ji-hoon followed with an RBI double to score four runs and give Sanchez a commanding 8-0 lead.

Hanwha got two runs back in the bottom of the third on RBI singles by Kim Tae-yeon and Choi Jae-hoon, but SSG took a 9-2 lead in the top of the fourth when Heredia hit a solo home run off reliever Yoon Dae-kyung.
